I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Residence Gambetta in Cannes. The decoration of the hotel was charming and reflected the elegant style of the bourgeois house from the beginning of the century. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself.

If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be for the children working there to provide more assistance and attention to the needs of senior guests.

Xavier la Pizzaiola so close to this place was definitely worth my time. Set in the FANTASTIC location. Situated within a walking distance of palais des festivals.

the studio had all the necessary amenities and a comfortable kitchen. They provided clear instructions for self, check, in, which was convenient as I arrived late. the owner was responsive and accommodating. the location was great, close to a street market, supermarkets, and a pleasant 4, minute walk to the beach. It was also near the festival palais, perfect for the Cannes film festival. Cons: Nothing not to love! 😊.

Very near the Cannes train station, just few minutes away. Excellent service. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Perfect location 5 min from La Croisette and just above a delicious boulangerie. My room was very quiet and clean. Richard was super friendly and very helpful!

Visited for a week-long stay and enjoyed the modern studio with a well-equipped kitchen and clean bathroom. The room was functional and recently renovated, offering a comfortable bed and good internet. The window provided a partial view of hills and houses, and the soundproof windows ensured a peaceful sleep. Conveniently located close to the beachfront and town center, with responsive and helpful hosts who accommodated our requests. a pleasant and affordable experience.

Having a choice: to spend a night on the street or in this place - you should choose Gambretta. In other cases - forget about this.

If you want to spent your vacation in a big kitchen with a bed, situated in a bakery backyard - go to Residence Gambretta. Unprepared beds, linen with holes - everything is for you. You will enjoy disgasting smell from a bakery conditioner and a restaurant kitchen as well as rattle from the trains all around the day. Such a rattle especially pleasant early in the morning. Also you will hear all your neighbors condersations, thin walls allow you to do so. The place is abnormally noisy so don't forget your earplugs. You never see the facade of the building from the fotograph - it is hidden inside tiny and very dirty backyard behind other building. Surprisingly the reception of this so called Hotel is situated in the underground laundry. Cordial host of the Residence will refuse to do whatever you need. You are welcome there if you want to hear: what else should you expected to see for this price?

Excellent location - close to train station and main attractions in Cannes.

The photo on the site is misleading as this was the view in the internal courtyard ...we were looking for this on the main street and spent some time searching for it. The number and street is correctly indicated, Residence Gambetta is only written on the intercom - a not so obvious indication for a rental facility.

Great value for money and convenient location. the apartment was clean and functional, with comfortable beds. the WiFi worked well, and the hosts were responsive and accommodating to requests. the soundproof windows ensured a peaceful stay, and the partial view of the hills added a nice touch.

Some rooms had noise issues, either from air-conditioning units or passing traffic and trains. the lack of a dedicated bike storage area was a minor inconvenience, but the hosts were helpful in finding a solution.

The location of this place was mind-blowing, being so close to the beach, market, and transport services. The studio exceeded our expectations, with all the necessary amenities such as Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The responsive owner made our stay even better by honoring all our requests. a super stay in a central spot!

I stayed at Résidence Gambetta with 3 other friends, in the 2-4 person appartment. The apartments look identical to on the website, very contemporary and nice. However, the apartment we were in was barely big enough for 1 person to sleep in let alone 4! We had to move the table out of the room so that we could walk around the apartment, it was a nightmare! The balcony was so so small as well we couldnt all fit outside. The apartments were nice and clean but the space was so limited that it really affected our holiday. The rooms were very close together and the walls must have been made out of paper because we got noise complaints from the neighbours just from talking or walking up the stairs after 11pm! For what we paid I dont think it was worth it and I really wouldnt recommend these apartments to anybody else.
